I can't wait to read YEAR OF THE RAT since I am a big fan of YEAR OF THE DOG. I assume RAT will follow Grace/Pacy and her (your) family again? Does it include the same kind of "flashback" vignettes? And all the teeny sketches? I am psyched to read it! (Just listened to the audiobook version of RAT and loved it, too!) Geesh, I'm sounding a bit ga ga, but I can't help myself...
Yes, YOTR follow Grace/Pacy again. It takes place two years later, so the girls are a bit older. It has the family stories and the sketches (though I think the publisher wants to print them a little larger this time). It also ties up the loose ends of Grace and Becky's friendship--I know people wondered why Becky just fell out of the story. Anyway, hope you like it and am so please & honored you enjoyed YOTD so much.
